We are keen to ensure sustainability is at the heart of our development. What sustainability features would you like to see introduced?

The above states During the building’s construction, the builder will operate an environmental management system and monitor all of their major environmental impacts including ecology, water use, energy use, and transport of materials. However there is no mention of reducing noise and disturbance to the local community. Also the statement does not cover demolition. I want the Developer to commit to using non percussive demolition techniques, introducing quite periods during the day, no weekend working, inserting noise, dust and vibration monitors. They should also agree to pay fines in to local community charities when they fall fail of these undertakings.

- More trees, with drainage taken into consideration to ensure they can indeed be planted in due course - Secure bicycle storage / parking spaces ideally protected from the rain and with charging points for electric bicycles, <for the public / visitors> - As many trees as possible - The residential units meet the minimum size requirements but are too small to be really liveable. They will not be attractive homes and are likely to turn into short term lets / increase the transience of Wimbledon instead of building a stable community. The 1 bed / 1 person flats for example should be more 50sqm rather than 40sqm. I believe this will also increase their attractiveness to potential buyers. People resent buying shoe boxes. - On this front, interior drawings of the residential units has not been made public yet and it would be important to validate that the contemplated layouts are actually effiicent and pleasing to live in. - It appears that waste management and service truck flows have not been fully contemplated. If a truck has to drive up Trinity road for this purpose, having it go further North is likely to be very challening from a road traffic and flow point of view to say the least. It is also likely to be very detrimental to residents of South Park Road. Please carefully consider this aspect and kindly disclose detailed plans.

The development also and places the residential block right at the junction where standstill traffic levels (and therefore pollution) are at its highest. Longer term residents will suffer longer term exposure to traffic pollution compared to hostel users although the preference would be for the design to protect all residents from the effects of traffic pollution.

BIG trees, Living walls on outside of building, No single use plastic ie plastic cups at water fountains. Roof garden at the top. A big tree & underplanting in the residential courtyard. Are YOU putting in the row of trees in the Trinity road view?
