Do you think the current building is aesthetically pleasing?

Negative

Do you currently/have you ever previously used the facilities on site?

Currently

Please explain your answer - if ‘currently’, what is your opinion of them? If ‘previously/no’, why not/why did you stop?

I use the gym/exercise classes and have done for many years. The studios are in poor repair, have inadequate climate control and very low quality equipment. It's a cheap gym because it's far below the standard of other facilities in the area. This is not fair to the many excellent instructors who are increasingly choosing to teach at better facilities.

The facilities have been allowed to deteriorate over the years with absolutely NO concern whatever for the regular members! I am simply amazed that 2019 saw some redecoration after putting up with rubbish for most of the past 15 years!.

Why haven’t you asked any questions about mass? I am pro-development, but The height of the proposed tower in this location is ridiculous. Not withstanding the design being poor, where are any good examples of a tower being in the outskirts of a suburban centre being successful? Homes are important, but it should not be in exchange for poor urban design. We are in the process of tearing down so many 60’s towers, including proposals for ones in South Wimbledon, so why do the developers and architects think there’s will be more successful?

The building has not been well-maintained. It is concerning to read that it is not viable to re-develop the site. Presumably if it had been better maintained in the past it would have been possible. If so, how can we trust that the new buildings will be better maintained?
